FASHION TRENDS WE SLAYED IN 2018.

I still can’t believe we are counting down to the end of 2018 and if you are oblivious of that fact let this post remind you that it’s just three days before we say “bye boo” to 2018 and graciously usher in a new year ‘2019’ and I hope you are as excited as I am.

I think you will agree with me that 2018 has been a great year when it comes to fashion and people didn’t come to play when it came to fashion, I mean someone who is just going to the movies and the person is heavily dressed like it’s for red carpet and you will hear them say ” ohh you don’t know who I’ll be seeing”, so in 2018 people were majorly on fleek if i can say because they didn’t joke with their looks, they really slayed when it came to playing dress up, hair, makeup and the list is endless. Hello fam!, I think it’s right to start saying compliments of the season yeah?, some of you if not most of you already closed from school or work for the year 2018 so gradually we are counting days to start a year yeah…exciting and scary at this same time for me I won’t lie.

1. CRANKY.

Meaning- Eccentric or strange, bad tempered, irritable.

Part of speech- Adjective.

Synonyms- Grumpy, grouchy, ill-natured.

Usage- Most ladies tend to be cranky when they are on their period.

 

2. COMPENDIOUS.

Meaning- Marked by brief expression of a comprehensive matter, concise.

Part of speech- Adjective.

Synonyms- Summary, terse, succinct.

Usage- The lecturer’s compendious style of teaching made me like him and his class.

 

3. REPARTEE.

Meaning- A quick and witty reply, cleverness  in reply, conversation or speech characterized by quick, witty comments or replies.

Part of speech- Noun.

Synonyms- Banter, cross talk, wordplay.

Usage- You have to love Jane for her repartee which makes her fun to hang out with.

 

4. ACRIMONY.

Meaning- Anger and bitterness, harsh or biting, sharpness- especially of words,  manner of feelings.

Part of speech- Noun.

Synonyms- Bitterness, resentment, enmity.

Usage- The last time I asked her about her family she replied me with such acrimony that I promised myself to to talk to her anymore.

 

5. FRENETIC.

Meaning- Fast and energetic in a rather wild and uncontrolled way, marked by excitement.

Part of speech- Adjective.

Synonyms- Turbulent, intense, hyperactive.
